Joy Woolbright, Gian Sotto's wife, is 16 weeks pregnant!
Gian Sotto and his wife Joy Woolbright are expecting!
The great news was shared by Joy in an Instagram post made yesterday (April 12), Easter Sunday, through a movie poster-like announcement.
It read, “16 weeks! So timely that as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, we also want to share that we are celebrating life… life of a new blessing.
“[It's] a secret we've been keeping since January. This came as a big surprise to us since we were not planning to have another one but our plan was not God's plan!”
Joy added that they wanted to share the news sometime around March however it didn't seem right due to the rising cases of coronavirus patients.
“We've been wanting to share this last month, Gian's birthday month, but unfortunately it was when the COVID situation started and we felt that it just wasn't the right time to share. We waited on God's perfect time and today felt right.”
Based on the post, the mother of five is expected to give birth around September this year.
The two have five other children namely, Hugo, Edrigu, Sandro, Rossano, and Amari.
Gian is the son of Tito Sotto and actress Helen Gamboa. The two met when they were both students at the University of Asia and the Pacific. They got married in 2007.
Gian is currently the incumbent Vice Mayor of Quezon City.
